What is a Facial Toner? It can be used to remove any dirt or dead skin cells on the face and it can be used to remove any excess oil left on your face. The alkalinity of the skin can be impacted by various elements such as water, perspiration, cosmetics etc. The facial toner can be used to restore the face to its natural PH level. This will allow the skin to interact better with moisturizers and day or night creams. Facial Toners also have some other added benefits. They can be used to clean the pores which allows the pores to remain small thus giving the appearance of smooth skin. They can hydrate the skin and they can provide a very soothing and refreshing feeling on your face. Our toners are alcohol-free and are made with pure hydrosols. Hydrosols are the pure water that is produced from plants and flowers as a result of the distillation process. Hydrosols provide all of the benefits of essential oils without the intensity of using an essential oil directly on the face. Here are some of the common hydrosols that can be found in our Facial Toners:
- Lavender: gentle and soothing and also balances PH levels
- Chamomile: calming and relaxing; an option for burns, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea
